I was driving on my way to the college bookstore this evening when I saw a little Mourning Dove get caught in a downdraft and slam into the front of the car right in front of me. I though for sure he was dead, and I saw a bunch of feathers fall onto the roadway. Then, I saw the little bird jump up off of the road and fly across toward a parking lot. I swear I have no willpower when it comes to buying two things: makeup/clothes and video games. Rrr! I went to WalMart last night for milk(gross) and chips(mmm) and I left with a new Maybelline Mineral Lipstick in 400 Ruby, new Colossal Mascara, and Aquarium for Nintendo DS!!! Someone needs to stop me. lol

On a slightly less cute note, my cat caught a mouse last night and brought it over in front of me....and ate the whole thing. She seems to think I need to watch ...

Well today I went out to collect the 5th EGG from my favorite little hen called Vera! She is a tiny White Leghorn and I love her, she always runs to me and wants to be cuddled. Aww...Anyway. I bent over to go underneath the branches of this huge old cedar tree in my chicken yard and I felt 2 poky things fall down the back of my shirt.
